Florida homeowners coping with roof eligibility rules and Citizens depopulation notices can now reach licensed experts through new 1-800-INSURANCE territories spanning Orlando, Tampa Bay, and South Florida.
Bridging shopper confusion and agency workload
Carriers continue to refine guidelines around roof age, wind mitigation, and water loss history, leaving shoppers uncertain about documentation or inspection deadlines. Agency partners in the program completed training on legislative changes, flood mapping, and premium financing so they can resolve questions quickly while keeping files audit-ready.
“We’re seeing families who have never filed a claim suddenly juggle inspections, mitigation upgrades, and lender requirements,” said Greg Patnod. “By aligning calls with agencies that specialize in Florida statutes, we remove friction when coverage is already hard to place.”
Data-driven staffing keeps phone lines steady during storm season
Kirk Brunson added that Aegis Platforms is synchronizing marketing bursts with predictive storm modeling. “We forecast inbound surges tied to tropical outlooks and scale agency staffing weeks before landfall,” Brunson explained. “That way shoppers aren’t hitting voicemail when they’re trying to secure flood or wind coverage.”
Florida agencies joining the network receive exclusive inbound demand, bilingual call scripting, and neighborhood-level marketing to explain roof upgrade incentives. Additional territories will open as agencies meet service-level benchmarks during the 2025 storm season.
